Boyfriend Hat Collection

Pattern by http://stephanieknits.blogspot.com/2007/03/keeping-boyfriends-ears-warm-since-2006.html

Finished size: One size fits most adults, men or women

Notes: Awesome basic beanie hat that uses just 100 yds of yarn. Wonderful top shaping. Pattern is very well written. At first, with the Ironstone, this was “the hat so nice, I made it twice.” And then I made another one with Patons SWS. And then a fourth one. Great pattern, y’all!

What I did for all of these hats: Using knitted cast on method, cast on 90 sts. Work every round in rib pattern until the hat measures 6.5″ tall. Work top shaping as instructed.

Needles: US 9 (5.5 mm) double-pointed needles (DPN)

Yarn gauge: 10 sts = 3″ on #11 needle

Gauge: Not important
