Yarn:    3 oz worsted yarn — 1 ball Plymouth Encore (75% acrylic, 25% wool), 3.5 oz/100 g, 200 yards. Color #0217, Black.

US 10 (6 mm) circular needle, 16″
US 10.5 (6.5 mm) 16″ circular and double-pointed needles (DPN)

Gauge:    4 sts in pattern = 1 inch
4 sts in stockinette on US 10.5 also = 1 inch

Finished size:    XL, very slouchy
Leftover yarn:    0.5 oz/12 g, about 28.5 yds (used about 171 yds for project)

Machine wash gentle cycle.
M1 = Increase: lift the horizontal strand to the right of the next stitch onto the left needle. Knit into back of st.
Yarn is soft, and this stitch has a lot of stretch.
