31 g/34.1 yds: A: Dark — Chocolate Brown
29 g/31.9 yds: B: Medium — Caramel
24 g/26,4 yds: C: Light — Cream: 27 g / 1.0 oz from stash (1/2 ball or about 29.7 yds)

US 10.5 (6.5 mm) knitting needles: 1 circular needle, 16″, 1 set double-pointed needles (DPN)

Gauge    3 sts and 4 rows = 1 inch in St st

Pattern:    Top-down shaping adapted from Hip Knit Hats by Cathy Carron. Inspired by the Republic hat by Nicole Reeves, the Banana Republic Hat Knockoff by metaphysical_muse, and the Cumquat Cap by Cathy Carron.

Finished size    Adult Large to XL: 22 to 23.5″ head (very roomy)

B: Medium — Caramel, 0.8 oz/21 g or 23.1 yds
C: Light — Cream, 0.2 oz/3 g or 3.3 yds

Notes: You need 66 sts for the hat and 78 sts for the button band. Medium hat would be 60 sts. Could make shorter.
