I absolutely adore this easy pattern for a winter hat. The hat looks good on everyone. Added an “Irish Rose” for embellishment. The author says, shell-stitch “provides a fast-finished, low-concentration alternative to the more pithy patterns available, and still turns out a really pleasing finished product.” Hat can be made in cotton for warm weather.
