This menu is inspired by the kids’ menu at Pita Jungle, one of my favorite restaurants. They have one of the best kids’ menus I’ve ever seen, with an emphasis on healthful food served in balance. I thought it would make a great tool to plan my own brown bag lunches. I’ve changed some of the items (they also offer lentils, tofu, and pita crisps) and added serving sizes and more vegetable and fruit options.
