Sustainable excellence, coupled with fulfillment in our work — author Tom Morris
I am a precise person, who pays attention to detail and likes reproducible results. That makes me good at my job, testing software systems.
I enjoy cooking for friends and family. I also am a frequent knitter and sometimes crochet. I had learned to knit as a child, and started again in December 2003. Since then, I have completed over 400 knitted or crocheted projects.
I use recipes when I cook, and I take notes. If something’s good, I want to be able to make it again. Likewise, if a recipe flops, let’s avoid that it in the future. This methodical approach has given me a reputation as a good cook.
I believe that you don’t need 14 recipes with slight variations for the same thing. I strive for a “best of class” approach.
Likewise, I keep detailed notes on each completed knit or crochet project, because I like patterns that are reliable and correct. And hey, sometimes you want to make that cute hat twice.
